Hello, I'm ShernetA New York based freelance Photo-Editor.
I'm always here for you; I know my way around
Adobe PS and I have quite a few publications under

As a young child I began editing photos in Adobe Photoshop 7. Mixing and playing with the tools provided until finally my novice talents showed some promise. Fast forward, today I have gone on to edit photos for countless publications, online Ad campaigns, magazines, models and photographers internationally. I still 'play' with the many possibilities of Photoshop till this very day. Learning new concepts to bring each piece of art I'm entrusted with to life.

hummm.... im really interested in art generraly buti really love photgraphy and im learning Architecture ingeneering... but you are realy good at retouching. i would like to be as greater as you are.

I'd say get a copy of Photoshop and play with it. search around on here for stock photos to use and learn.
It's hard at first but becomes easy, I can help you out some let me know.

@wildwoolfy - you should also go to School see 's latest journal entry... I recommend Academy of Art U. at www.academyart.edu having a degree in the field will help a lot, people think to be a professional you just buy an expensive camera and that's it, the camera don't take the photos you do, and you need to know how to use manual mode, create RAW files, Aperture, F-stop, Timing, framing, lighting it's not as easy as everyone thinks and it's starting to anger me. My business is suffering because of these point and shoot and don't need anything else type of people. I recommend three books if you don't want to go to school Light and Lens Seizing the Light and Criticizing photographs to just give you an idea what all goes into photography.

@ woolfy - there is a lot that goes into retouching as well just because your self taught don't mean you can't improve and get better you need a degree to actually get recognition don't believe me check out Adobe Photoshop for photographers, at Amazon anyone can retouch but to seamlessly make edits and not "destructively retouch" a photo (if you don't know what that is you don't know what your doing) you really need to work with editors, and professionals to really know the program. I'm really just trying to help anyone out that listens to me.
