Well, be casual about it. When I first discovered my sexuality, I didn't just straight up tell my brother about it (both of my parents died a long time ago and my brother is the one who has taken care of me) I had mentioned it a couple of times, hinting at it, but never quite saying it. When he finally figured out why, he wasn't upset or anything, he simply smiled at me, hugged me, and said he loved me and will always love me, no matter what. Maybe if you hint at it to your crush, she may not be insulted or angry. She might even feel flattered that you feel that way for her.
