Tools of the Trade: I am actually, perdominantly, a traditional artist. I have long nourished the bond between me and my mechanical pencil, me and my Faber Castell pens, me and Copic marker. Hell, I practically ship it! However, I have been trying my hand at digital art.

# About me
I am Shio and I am an artist. Regardless of how refined my skills are or how I compare to the surplus of artists that exist in the world, I am an artist. I create, I manipulate lines and colors to create images, perfection not necessary; thus, I am an artist. The artwork you will find on this page may display great fleets of skill or, at times, utter failure. Art is not perfection, art seeks not perfection for perfection is like man desiring to be God. I seek not to hide my failures nor my triumphs for art is not the definition of perfect but rather, the act of perfectly displaying imperfection. That is all man knows how to do. So the art on this page is not perfection but a process of trial and error. That is all it has been since I've first picked up a pencil: a long tiring road of trial and error. There is no end. I will forever make mistakes and I will forever strive to learn from them. That is the joy of art, not perfection. Nothing is gained from absolute perfection. Our society is filled with perfectionists who have never yet discovered that perfection is stale and boring. Its not about the product but instead the process.
Welcome to my page. The quality of my art is subjective and it will differ from person to person. Please see it as you like. You will find the evolution of trial and error. You will find my horrendous mistakes and misadventures. Please try to see the beauty in those too, for its there hidden from those who don't care to seek it. You will also find triumphs and successes. Beauty is much to easy to find in those; however, they are satisfying. I share these works not for personal affirmations, though those are nice, but in hopes that someone will be inspired by my hard work, my trial and error, my evolution.

Okay, so maybe I am a little greedy/impatient/unoriginal. I just remember this idea being a huge success, a lot of artists joined, a lot of people had fun, so I thought, why not do it again? Anyway, I think I've discovered why that contest was such a success; it's probably the simplest contest idea I've ever done. And rightfully so, since there's not really much to it.
For this contest, you would only have to design one or more, if you want, of the members of the cast of Innocence. Both traditional and digital arts are accepted, and the character is your choice. If you would like to do a pairing, however, there are some that are prohibited, since most of the cast is underage, and some characters are of legal age. Please don't be gross...
