I'm just an ordinary girl who has liked art since, well, since I learned how to draw( which according to everyone is when I first held a pencil)
I've moved all over the continent so I'm opened minded to other cultures and opinions, I won't judge.
I don't know where I'm heading, but I do know I want art and love to come along, ooh and books!

Hmm... I guess an important thing is to find a good school with a strong animation program, but even before that the MOST important thing is to constantly try to improve your portfolio by drawing from life and not limiting yourself to one particular style. Keep a sketchbook with you at all times and keep filling it up! Good luck!

It is a fairly challenging field, and quite a competitive industry. Animation and illustration are closely tied, but I think in general there are probably more jobs in illustration. You have to really have a passion and be committed to animation to make it your study, and be willing to do a LOT of drawing, especially from life. Decisions, decisions! :) (Smile)
