I have never carved a real or full-sized carousel figure, but when I was in high school I carved a couple of miniature carousel horses. I do not know where they are at the moment- probably in a box in my storage unit. I've currently began doing some carving again, working on a few small carousel pieces currently. But the wood is poor quality and I may not be able to finish them.
I am very familiar with the House on the Rock, though I've never been there. It is a 'Bucket List' place for me, but I don't see any way I'd ever actually get to go there. The carousel is amazing, it's just too bad that it's not for riding, but watching only.

Wow you know that was a troll. This place is crawling with them and their only joy in life is to run people down to make themselves feel better. Also getting reactions like this. Nevertheless, I understand your reason and Iβm so sorry it upset you to the point of making your gallery private. You also can hide comments like that too. It makes it less painful IMO and you can block them.
