"it's just a story using another author's IDEAS". Ok, I'll make it crystal clear for you: Fanfic's are used by taking the Idea of the Author and creating something new. Most cases it's not anything better, but its somehing that the User (writer) wants to write something about his/or her favorite Books or Story.
In other words, its something to enjoy. Something to test they ability of the Writer. Not something to be flamed at
