((I am going to be using this for both a roleplay account and a plz account.The parentheses mean that I am not acting as Youko Kurama just in case you don't know.)
Kurama is a demon thief who, after being fatally wounded, fuses with the unborn child of Shiori Minamino. He is born as Shuichi Minamino, a human, though he retains his demon powers at a much lower level. Kurama had originally planned to return to his demon form after regenerating his powers. However, while he has an accident his mother saves him; injuring herself in the process. This forms a bond of love and loyalty which Kurama cannot bear to break and stays as Shuichi to keep Shiori happy. He attends the fictional Meioh Private Academy where his grades are the highest in his year. He meets Yusuke Urameshi in the first season as a part of a trio of demons who steal three dark artifacts from Spirit World. However, he uses the "Forlorn Hope" (known as the "Ankoku-Kyou" (lit. Dark Mirror?) in the Japanese version), a mirror capable of granting the user's desire at the cost of the user's life, to cure his mother of a deadly illness. Yusuke saves Kurama's life by offering up his own life to the mirror and thereby canceling the sacrifice. This act bonds Yusuke and Kurama as friends and allies. During the Dark Tournament Kurama is temporarily reverted back to his original form, "Yoko Kurama," the Demon Fox. Kurama uses his aura to control plants, including his signature weapon, a rose he keeps in his hair which he turns into a whip of thorns capable of cutting through steel. He also possesses a skill for analytical thinking which allows him to gauge his opponents' strengths and weaknesses and formulate effective strategies. As Yoko Kurama, his powers are far greater and he is capable of creating demonic plants which possess various attributes and highly formidable powers. At the end of the manga, he is shown working at his step-father's company.

Crouched next to a stump, the teenager looked downwards, a glimpse of sadness in her red eyes. In her pale hands was a box, a small one, playing a soft melody. Quietly and gently, Lucy sang. Just not loud enough for one to hear.

The female dryad laid asleep in a tree branch, as her dark brown hair fell to her waist. The sun glazed her cream-colored skin, with bits and pieces of the shade, mixed with a few spoonfuls of gentle breeze and you get something that came off of a storybook. The laurel-crowned nymph seemed peaceful in a state like this, to some.

The fox demon known as Youko Kurama walked quietly through the wooded area. He occasionally stopped and sniffed the air because of his rather paranoid nature. Demons who did not know him well would think him a rather calm and cold individual; part of that was true, but he also had the tendency to actually pay attention to his surroundings because of his reputation of being the king of thieves. Youko was not too worried, but it's better being safe than sorry.

Only the soft breathing of the sleeping dryad was breaking the silence, barely audible for him to hear unless he was a badass like that. Echo, which happened to be the woodland nymph's name, still remained in the tree, sound asleep. Only her lungs inflating and deflating were moving.

The reason Youko was in this particular wooded area was because of a rare plant that was only found here. Never had he been to this part of the Makai before, so he felt like a curious young kit again. He was even more paranoid about his surroundings, though. Who knows what is out there.

With the nymphs living in this unknown environment, they adapted the ability to sense foreigners, as Echo's hazel eyes opened suddenly. Looking downwards, she could see him underneath the tree she was in, not saying anything.

With his enhanced hearing, he suddenly heard a shifting in the tree above him. He frowned at this and heightened his senses while continuing to walk. There's no need to be caught off guard and letting the enemy know you know they're there.

Yet the dryads living in that part of the Makai were peaceful, and they never had to fight for it. Echo was of course, a very passive dryad, and tried her best to make as many friends as she could.

He was going to ignore the creature above him. If it attacked him, then he will do the same to it. He came here to pick up the rare plant, not to start a fight with every creature he found dwelling here. Though, he knew that is what the bandits in his group would most likely do.

Swiftly and silently, like a ninja, Echo jumped through the trees, folowing him. The young dryad had never seen anyone like him in her lifetime before, and it was probably a good idea to check it out.

He senses and hears the creature move to follow him above, but continues to walk. It looks like the creature does not know he knows it's there. Either way, he should continue to ignore it. He finally reaches a rather bright and bare clearing.

Yet no attack was made.
Sighing a little bit, Echo never followed afterwards. She too knew of the plant he was trying to find, but she was mute. She can only communicate to others through writing or sign language. With a saddened face, Echo's brunette head hung low slightly. All her life she kept wishing for her own voice, yet that wish never came true.

He sensed that he was no longer being followed, but still kept his guard up. He started to walk with extra caution through the overly bright clearing while heightening his senses even more. Was this a trap? His ears perked up when he heard a loud roar pierce the silence. He jumped back as three overly large ogres landed in the middle. One ogre had its mouth stitched, one had an overly dirty bandage over its eyes and the last one had no arms. The armless one roared out something about having to pay to cross the clearing. Youko's ears flattened against his head. These creatures were not what they seemed. He should be careful with them.

Jumping a bit, Echo watched the ogres come out of nowhere in fear. Sure, she interacted with them before, and they were just plain assholes. Finally making a decision to make herself be seen, she waved her hands frantically to get their attention.

Even though the ogres didn't notice the girl, Youko did. He frowned as he watched her jump up and down waving her arms around like a maniac. Who was she and what was she doing? He also noticed the familiar scent she carried. It looks like she was the one who was following him. He then concluded that she was probably curious about him. One ogre started to attack him because of them being ignored. Youko jumped and immediately threw a seed growing a bamboo forest with his youkai, which impaled and killed all three ogres. That was suspiciously too easy.

Echo facepalmed, she was trying to get the ogre's distracted, not Youko. Facepalming because she felt stupid about what she did, she decided to blend back into the trees, at least until she got over it. But she couldn't move; she saw the dead ogres and the bloody bamboo forest. But looking back at the other, she managed to move back a few steps, in case he were to attack her next.

He looked back after the attempted fight only to see no female. She probably hid herself. He glared at the forest and turned to continue his journey to find the rare plant. Hopefully, there wouldn't be anymore distractions, but he doubted he would be left alone for long. How annoying.

Echo decided to stay behind after the incident where she accidentally almost killed the fox demon. Embarrassed, she hid until he was gone out of sight, then she could go her own way.
