You know what it is? Today's shitty mainstream is monopolizing the good stuff. It's usually the underground stuff like trance, techno, dubstep, etc. that usually isn't recognized, instead lame, cheesy, talentless people like Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga are noticed. It's fucking sad as hell. E nomine was very talented with their music like "Mitternaucht", and "Vater Unser", and what do we get today??? Just repeats of the same bullshit about drugs, sex, and money.
Why are talentless people in today's mainstream? Why do these people even exist?
I believe there should be an actual radio station to play stuff like E nomine, and other trance/techno music, instead of this cheesy, stupid pop, and alternative music.

If I had the tech-prowess to do an online radio station I would. But you're absolutely right. And it's rather sad that most people in the US don't even know about foreign artists at all. Just about all I listen to is foreign and I love it. I listen to people who love to create music, not people who do it for every other reason but that. Not to mention nearly all of these artists don't write their own music, nor can they actually sing.

That is right. People are always relying on the auto-tune device to cheat their way through singing, which goes to prove with the amount of vocal software/plugins we have today, you can practically turn anybody into a star. I know this because I AM a mixer/audio producer. I have tested plenty of DAW's and I can tell you right here that most of these people in the mainstream that are famous, is just a bunch of bullshit.
*Mockingly* "Oh look! I can play guitar with 3 fingers. I am so talented"
...and country music is just a bunch of middle aged men singing about their dog dying, and their beer.
That's why I quit listening to the radio. I stopped listening to the radio years ago because it's getting worse, and worse everyday.
