I appreciate all guys, everyone for something special. Martin for his lyrics and life vision, Alan for his incredible talent in making music, Andrew for his instant calmness
But yes, I admire Dave the most. He's very strong as a person, as a human, according to what he has gone through. He's a spiritual idol for me. Having hard times, I always think about him and try to be as strong as him.
Of course, I love his unearthly voice
There's one more reason (may seem stupid a bit), but I could never dance, I'm worse then just bad in it, so I adore Dave for his dancing To be honest, first of all I've fallen in love with Dave's dances and only then with DM music

Not a stupid reason at all. I love how he just passionately dances in his own style. I first saw him dance in a video from 1982, performing JCGE, and I thought it was adorable. Dancing is definitely one of his stand-out qualities.
You had 5 years of training at art school and only 18 years old? The way you draw at only 18 is great. I study linguistics, too, and sadly drawing is a hobby for me also, I wish I could spend more time on it. 
By the way, are you gonna see Depeche live on their Global Spirit Tour? I just got my tickets last week, this will be my first time seeing them live so I'm very excited for this summer!!

Oh, you've read my bio o_O I thought nobody would pay attention to it  

I can say more: I graduated from art school... 4 years ago already it was 2013 and I was 15 I miss these days, to be honest. But linguistic owns whole my heart, that's why I've chosen it to study at the university
And I understand you, I have no time to draw too You added my art "Violational Dave" to favourites, so, on a note, it's my very first art after a long-long break (due to be lacked in time). But I hope I will never drop my hobby again  

I'm so glad for you!!!  You will see these adorable guys live!! I want so bad, but now I've got no opportunity for it because of university (and in the summer too, yes)  
I have never seen them live before (so sad). But I'm pretty sure I'll be able to see DM on their next tour   

Oh yeah, very young Dave 81-83 is so energetic and funny My favourite periods are "Black Celebration" and "Music For The Masses" eras. "Some Great Rewards" and "Violator" eras love so much too. I was mesmerized when had seen Dave's dancing during  live performances of "Strangelove" and "A Question Of Time"

My favorite era is Black Celebration, with Violator and Music for the Masses following. And their live record 101...damn, what majestic concert that was. I wish I was alive back then to see them live in their top form (with Alan still on board). But our boys still rock in their 50's.

You're only 18, you will have a lot of time to improve, and I'd stay you're still ahead of many of your peers. Linguistics is a very interesting major, too. It adds a whole new perspective on how you view language, how it is like DNA and its use is unique to everyone/can tell so much about someone's personality, ethnicity, culture, social class etc, and it's still such a mystery in many ways but let me not bore you with too much linguistic talk.    Hope you have fun on deviantArt, I'll be following your artworks!

Oh yeees, I'm so sorry that I wasn't about 20 in 80s  
But I still can see DM live  I'm so proud of living with them in the same century!

Btw, I feel completely the same about linguistics and can talk about it for hours
