I love 'em! I can't get enough! AW MAN! Arabic?!? Lucky!!! I agree, I keep wanting to speak Japanese in Spanish class, and I nearly took French! Knowing a language in one family opens up the rest! It's just...fun? xD

Yes, yes! So much fun! I'm looking to go into translating/interpreting but I have to transfer to a different university to do so (so it's gonna be a couple years). But I'm doing my best to open all the doors I can! Plus I get really curious/frustrated when I hear a language I can't even basically comprehend.

If you really wanna take other languages then I suggest looking for online classes. I actually got a Japanese program started at my school via an online course. Of course, I was the only student for three years, but by the time I graduated five more underclassmen started taking the class! It can be difficult to start, but talking to your principal and getting help is always a great way to get info! Oh, and contacting your county's/city's foreign language department is good too! That's what I did (I went to a VERY small high school in the middle of nowhere... seriously). So if you're really interested in languages then I highly suggest going out, doing research, and finding classes on your own. They're out there, they just take a little time, determination, and pixie dust to find. Okay, I was lying about the pixie dust, but you get my point
Ah.. well, I would imagine that a few Trekkies at a Star Trek convention know how to speak Vulcan, but they are class 000 nerds. I am not quite at that level of nerdom yet. xD one day~

I may try that next year, as it's my last year in this school, but that's actually a really good idea!! Haha, were you really?? It's good that other people kept it going though, considering that you must've really tried hard to get it started! I think I'll try to sway the foreign language department, that's a good interest group to get into the mix, along with the principal! I download the FSI courses, which work out of pdf textbooks, so I've gotten some solid ground for lessons, but I need to go a little further with practice and reading...I'm definitely going to take your advice and try to get a better language program established! (aw, come on, no pixie dust??? XD)
