Drives me crazy, such a bland building! You'd think that as an art-based campus that it would be a bit more colourful and slightly more inspirational. And our room doesn't have any windows... I miss natural light! Your room is the same though... meh... Hatrium!

Did you know you'd be going to the Atrium when you applied then?
I remember in my interview all those years ago they laughed and said 'well they say we'll move to cardiff one day but I can't see that happening. Its not built yet!'

Hehe we always call it the Haterium too, we sometimes muse about graffiting the signs with it.

I knew I was going to Atrium and I thought "New building, new facilities...." But it's crap, however, it's still better than Newport which was my second choice.

Yeah I love visiting Swansea, my brother lives there and my boyfriend used to as well. Its a lovely place. Mountains AND beaches. What more could you want?

It's good fun the class is cool when people actually turn up, and projects aren't too hard. I wish there was a bit more design stuff though - characters and such. Though we're on that project next.

Do you have a big project on at the moment? We don't really see you guys round much lol

Haha I think thats all I do now is design work Backgrounds, concept art and character design is all I've done all year!

Most of us third years are making films. That will take the whole year and so, yeah its quite a big project. Myself and a couple of others have things split into chunks of 3 projects (of which I'm doing backgrounds, concept art and character design) and because its our last year we work a lot on it. Although our class suffers from appalling attendance theres only 4 of us who turn up everyday. You wouldn't believe there were 33 of us in 1st year! 10 now, haha.

Oh man yea I was pretty sucky in 1st year. Turns out I'm just not a natural animator- I'm a concept artist! Whoop.
You think? I always thought of the rooms as quite big. Except for the lifts, being trapped in there with 6 other people is horrid.

Hey Tom You just sort of talk to people and they talk to you. Some people use forums and chat rooms. I've just sort of... accumulated them. Sometimes people will feature you in their journals which gets you a bit more recognition- I suppose thats where a lot of mine have come from. If people favourite your work that helps too.
