Ιt's a matter of settings/parameters to the shell32 part that must added to shellstyle.dll(and the use of oldnewexplorer=so to be activated this added shell32_uifile code),  in order and to add the folderband=commandbar code.


I don't use win 10, so I am not sure if I can help you---->but i will use the code of the only theme i did on past for 10, supposing that will work.

Hi Zeus and many thanks to your kindness for help.

I myself made custom visual styles and I'm completely stucked with something I thought you could be the one to find out how to. 

Here is a screen of the part I'd like to locate but I've search many weeks in vain. 

The pink part as treeview ( navigation pane or systreeview ) of explorer . I don't have any idea how to get rid of that to put some picture of my own.

This is an old pb posted too on style builder forums and doesn't seem to be in shell32.dll file . This argb background sure exists but where ? 

Btw , I already had some help to know how to mod the commandbar like I asked you so it's now ok . Thanks anyway.

no, needed construction of all code of Treeview. Someone on past  replaced the code of the 52 shell32_uifile with that of 9 shell32_uifile so he made the treview of vista in which at the top part you could add an image. have a look---->  www.vistastylebuilder.com/foru…

So perchaps could be if I could remade all the code, or adding a new ' condition'  parameter that doew not exist and the system may accept it. Its difficult and neeeded time and luck for this..

Thanks Zeus I was already aware of that yes . Pb is to remove completely that part as treeview background to put a custom pic . 
If only we could find where this setting is located in windows OS to play with .

statusbar on win 7 is an image so if you use windows style builder you can easily find it.
on win 8 it is a parameter in shell32.dll but if u change shell32.dll on win 8 the system restore to a previous status via automaticaly system restore.
[i could find a kind of solution with not using shell32 though i dislike windows 8 and i do not care about]

about the details pane info align to the left, its possibly a parameter like layoutpos="left" but i have not search it.

i have already made on past the propertree to the right part of the explorer if you have seen to my gallery, it is Dios Afi - Zeus Touch [link]

as for the black color it is better not to use other.
microsoft as also apple, in some points they do the same because of more seriouw reasons as for those simple users imagine.

if i remeber microsoft code did a black line or shadow [i have forgot what excactly as this i made 1 year before] so the black background it is a good solution to this kind of modification ---> ofcourse it is possible that the problem with the black line could be solved, but i dont want to spent some months more, as those kind of modifications i did needed many millions failed experiments for be done, for find the right conditions that will work to any pc with no problem.

thanks for answer me!! , the Dios Afi - Zeus Touch has the preview pane to the top, i would like have it on the bottom and move upwards to enlarge and folderband always visible on the top. restart your system. go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes select a theme and apply it. if it works this had happened because uxcore application, the application that enables 3rd party themes working to windows, sometimes stopped working.

if even after this no theme applied then go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features uninstall the uxcore application, restart , install again uxcore application , restart, and then go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes select a theme and apply it. this happened very rare ----> why? because some microsoft updates, replaced some dll or informations that this application is applied to our system.

also see if the themes have copied to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
so Copy all the folders included in the folder 'Macos X Themes by ZEUSosx' [after unzip all files, and copy them to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes ,provided C is your Windows drive).

if you still have problem writte again

the problem with black themes is that needed a lot of work , too much menu's needed edited-also text color etc i can't explain this with 2 words, try to edit the shellstyle.dll, so as for a start, for having black background, and also add there white text. but as i said it needs alot of editting.

on past i have given permissions for wallpapers to some student of university, using them to their university works or for some persons using the wallpapers to their personal web site.

but to all other works, and mainly i mean the themes , i do not give permissions.

last permission i have given (for designing elements) recently is to djtransformer01 [link] but this exception accepted with the ΤΕΡΜ that anytime i want to take it down, then he will.

I wanted to use it for my production Design for example go to YOUTUBE.COM Type in TRAPBEATZ BY JONBEATZ and ull see the picture of the universe with JONBEATZ Written across it. This is just an example but if you dont want me to use it that way i will take it down and design a new bakground. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF YES OR NO? by changing parameters to shell32.dll

its not simple. its very difficult.

think this: for be possible to be this [in windows 8] microsoft's work to add new code to the system.
i did with the old windows 7 code i had but as i say its very very complicated and difficult to be made.
