Hello! I do various kinds of 2-D artwork for my studio, Drakenwrath Designs. We've got lots of interesting projects so check us out at our main site!I have a relatively consistent upload schedule here on DA. New content goes up Monday/Wednesday/Friday unless something disrupts the schedule. I generally try to post 3 things a week roughly. Exceptions would be things like the Monster Hunter Circulars which go up at the beginning of each month!

Hey Zanshinretsu, I love your designs! I was wondering if you have done any circular dragon emblems that look mechanical / clockwork in nature? I'd love to see something like that.

Greetings! As far as the Monster Hunter circular designs, they tend to be more organic to reflect the creatures in-game. While not circular, my Armada ship designs are definitely more angular and mechanical in theme. I am working on an original circular design series that will be feature a combination of those elements so that will definitely be a thing in the future! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello, Lily! Thanks for checking out my work! Were you talking about the Chameleos Circular design? I've posted a couple (front/face, side/face) so I just wanted to be sure. What I've done in the past is uploaded clean versions of the emblems without the watermarks. Let me know and I can get that information over to you!

Can I just mention how amazingly awesome it is to find your designs on redbubble for Brave Frontier!
I had given up hope of EVER finding a decent BF shirt, but now I have to decide which design to get first! You are an amazing artist and I absolutely love your colored shadow style on the character arts for the BF units. Hopefully the plan is in the works already to do an Azurai one and maybe just maybe a Logan one. My fave unit and the one named after me lol.
Anyway. Please keep the awesome, fantastic, groovy art comin! I'm gonna start slowly buying one of every shirt with that design lol.

Thanks, man! I really appreciate you stopping by to check out my work! I've been playing Brave Frontier since a few months into the launch of the Global version and the emblem series started up as a sort of passion project for the game. There's such a huge variety of units and characters that it's interesting to see how they translate into a flat format. I put up a new emblem every Friday and you'll frequently see unit voting strawpolls included in the descriptions for the next entry. In between voting rounds for the male and female units, I've been mixing things up with genderless or Raid Boss units. I did do a special round of GL exclusive female units so male ones are going to be next. I'm a really big fan of Azurai's design (despite never pulling him in my attempts) so you can expect to see him show up in the polls in the future.

Lots of awesome stuff on here! Your 2-D designs seem to go from Fantasy to Contemplative (and sometimes both), they really put me into another universe! Haven't gotten to check out all your other works yet, though I've seen many of your videos which feature your newer projects, so I look forward to checking out more of your older stuff.

Its always cool when creations have some sort of universe they belong to, really adds to how some works can be appreciated (not that there's anything wrong with stand alone works.) I like lore of this style, though I rarely take the time to get into any of it (I have more interests than any one person should have), but it is also interesting just from the standpoint of how it can show a thought process of how a piece came to be.

The Raths are definitely some of the most iconic monsters in the series. The current symbols in game for both Rathian and Rathalos are circular in design but I think I can adapt that into a unique emblem. As we get closer to the release of 4U, I'll be devoting the last few months to new monsters from the games. That doesn't mean I'll stop after the game comes out though. I'd like to do a circular for both Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos at some point in the near future! Maybe if there's enough interest, I'll put up a poll for future designs.
