Conventions are so fun though! Even though I've only gone to one, and it was small.
I can't imagine actually being at a table, but I imagine you get to talk to a lot of awesome people and hear a bunch o' compliments!

actually people are scarred to talk or make eye contact. i think its because they dont want to feel like they HAVE to buy something when an artist reels them in. they want to browse, and not make it obvious which tables they are willing to pass up or willing to stay at.

I know some table owners can be pushy though, so they might be it. And also they might feel embarrassed about possibly hurting your feelings for passing up your table or not buying anything?

i did for a day, then i just dressed hipster for the rest haha
there are cool ppl that stop to talk to us, but im still new on the con circuit so i havnt gotten into the clicks or know many artists yet. i want to though. you can tell they have more fun when you make friends on the circuit. they all know each other in one way or another except for us newbies.
