so sorry i haven't gotten back to your comments in a while. i finally got a job and have been taking a couple classes, so i've been busy - that coupled with a decrepit computer that doesn't like to connect to wireless unless it's two feet away from the router. but i'm doing fine, just kinda getting my shit together (as usual, right?) i had to move back in with my 'rents for a while to get my bank account padded back up, which is weird, but it's been alright so far.

No problem, I haven't been on dA much myself. I'm doing good - just finished my internship at YLE (pretty much the biggest Finnish broadcasting company) and spent some time in Germany getting to know my 1-year-old sister. I'm still happily together with Mika (we've been living together for three months now, problem-free) and I'm going to Oulu tomorrow, my mom just had some surgery on her leg so I'll be helping her out a bit, doing shopping etc.
The Israel thing didn't work out - I wasn't accepted for the student exchange - but maybe that's for the best, what with me living with Mika now. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to our trip to NYC in the spring and (hopefully) graduating next spring.

it's just a waitressing job. nothing fancy. but it's a popular restaurant in the area, so i make decent money. and my mom pays me $60 a week to clean the house for her since she's too busy to do it herself, so that's just a little more in the bank. i should have enough saved up by spring to come visit NYC while you're there, if you'd still like me to. which, you know, is absolutely fabulous since i haven't had the means to save up anything in a long time.
i'm happy to hear you're doing well with mika. it's been about a year, right? or more? i can't remember exactly when you told me about him, but it was a while ago.
what's your sister's name? and is she cute?
tell your mom i wish her happy healing and all. that leg has been bothering her for a long time, hasn't it? will this surgery make her better or just help a little?

And now I'm the slow one! Sorry, I've kidna been neglecting deviantArt lately. It's good that you foudn a decent-paying job. And yes, I would still absolutely love for you to come visit me in NYC! And if you still have my sunglasses, I could maybe take those back, too...
And yeah, it's been a bit over a year, we hooked up in July.
My sister's name is Sophia and she's cute enough when she's smiling or sleeping. When she's crying, though, ugh. I hate crying babies. But, she does have beautiful eyes.
Yeah, the leg has been bothering her for a while as have almost all of her joints. I just spent about a week in Oulu helping her out - y'know, bringing her food from downstairs, shopping etc, it's kinda hard to use the stairs with the cast. The surgery will not make her illness (rheumatism) better but it will help with the foot, she said that it was close to collapsing so that's why they had to do the surgery, to prevent that. Rheumatism is a bitch, you can only do so much with it, you can't cure it or prevent it from wreaking havoc on your body.
Anyway, Im going to go to bed now, I have school again tomorrow. I will try and check my dA a bit more often. I will really, really try. Sorry again!

You have some very interesting photographs there. I especially like the 'bathroom' pictures [link] and [link] . The mood is superb, spooky but very fitting. Can just wonder what those red and yellowish splashes are..
[link] I really like this picture, its strangely tied to nature. The eye lashes remind me of butterfly wings and the veins of trees, the facial profile is the hills and ground. ^^
[link] I like this painting alot, the face and the hair is lovely and the whole idea works very good! ^^ There's one little thing though and its how all the flames are near the same shade. If you look at flame, there's large spectrum of colors and its very bright at hottest points. I'm not saying its bad, not at all, just that the bottom part of the picture could easily benefit from such a small change innit ^^ Good work none the less!
Also good work with the cosplay costumes and photos! ^^

Thanks a lot! Vaulderie is a good model, so it's easy to take nice pics of her - I want to shoot her again. And yes, shoopufs are awesome! The little blue guys are hypellos, they're kinda neat too. You can never go wrong with a shoopuf, though. Say, have you played any other Final Fantasy's than just X?
