I added one of your pieces of art to my favorites with the intention of coming back to find more. xD You're a decent artist with interesting characters and a good style. ^^

I know how it feels to only get love for your fanwork and stamps. I've just about stopped with the Gorillaz fanart and stamp-making for this reason. I'm sure it plagues other folks as well when all they get is faves based on characters they didn't create. I only go on a fanart faving spree if I suddenly fall in love with a series and happen to have a computer nearby.

You're lucky I didn't find you when I started playing Mass Effect the first time. It would have been a faving spree.

I don't mind people liking my fanart, though to be honest.. I did those mostly for myself. As Mass Effect 3 is coming along next march, people start roaming the galeries in search for fanart, and the recent activities in my inbox shows ._.

I did my fanart for myself, too, but it started to get repetitive. I prefer when people like my original characters, y'know? Maybe I'm just picky.

I think, for me, it's the splinter of humanity he retains. He still recognized Alice in Apocalypse. I have a real love for inhuman men that don't want to be seen as monsters.

But the tentacles and deep voice certainly help. xDD

Ah. Mind you I'm not a fan of the movies (I lean heavily and fan girl over in game RE3!Nemmy) but I do enjoy giving the 'monsters' some well ...personality. Motives. Actual wants and desires other than 'kill kill rawr'. Though Nemmy in this story isn't a nice guy by any means. He is his own person which in a way ups the creepy factor; nothing like creating a monster that loathes you.

He is capable of plotting, of harboring grudges, of actual genuine emotions. He knows what he is and accepts what he is. It's more why is that? Why is he the way he is? What does a monster do and think? Does he understand his role in the world at large? The story does have him and Jill developing a bond but it's more a character study meets Greek Tragedy This story isn't light. Not in the slightest.

I enjoy butchering myth and making poor Nemmy work for his ending LOL

I couldn't get past the funky controls of the games. x.x It made the games unplayable for me, so I couldn't get very far.

Well of course, that's what fanfics are about. Taking unexplored aspects of characters and bringing them to life. Regardless of "good/bad" stereotypes. :V

Oh dem comtrols arggh. Admittedly yeah they are so counter intuitive! Then I tell myself do it for great justice! Do it to avoid getting hit with rockets XD Well and THAT VOICE in 3 = *shivers* The original VA - that bass was redic.

Oh I was getting at is more I'm stepping away from the 'monster gets redeemed/is misjudged' thing to 'what is a monster' and what does one do if said monster doesn't feel they have anything to lose or to prove. It's trixy letting him develop and stay the amoral psychotic line without making him dodge head first into 'evil' territory or making him too sympathetic. it helps the world itself isn't kind lol

Well, that was just the problem. xD I couldn't avoid or shoot anything with those controls. I wanted to play so badly but it hurt too much.
