I'm sorry I'm replying so late! The "courage does not always..." quote is a pretty popular anonymous quote.
The "wisdom and courage..." quote is my own. I meant the quote to have a double meaning. Yes, the attributes do belong together, but it applies just as much to Zelda and Link.

If you've checked out Skyward Sword, there are plenty of sad, bittersweet, and "squee"-worthy moments between the two. Link is so sweet and Zelda's a bit mischeivous. It's adorable how Link's always smiling around her and the ending is just...

I havent played it yet, but there was such a cathartic, sad moment in BOTW's trailer where Zelda is crying and falling onto Link. I like how their making the characters more personal.

Yeah, she is Zelda. Zelda is a girl, so Skeik would be a girl. Zelda can use magic well, thus she can use magic sufficiently enough to hide. Not to mention the old trick of wrapping one's chest to appear as a boy (I've seen people do that to dress as Link, Sheik, and others).
