# About me

In all my photographs I seek to push the interpretive limits of my eye and my equipment. I strive to push beyond a representation of what my eye has seen in an attempt to deliver the feeling the viewer has standing in my shoes. My images are evocotive and emotional, straddling the line between representation and imagination.

Current Residence: Honolulu, Hi
Favourite genre of music: Genre's are for people who like being told what to do
Favourite photographer: Ideally I can learn from any photograph, but I guess I appreciate the ones that are unique
Favourite style of art: The idea of style is like the idea of correct grammar... so 20th century

Thank you for taking the time to write this, it means a lot. With the words I try to express the kind of insight that I feel when I completely immerse myself in nature, as I do when I'm shooting. Natural beauty is really amazing, and while I appreciate that many photographer's strive hard to capture the aesthetic, I like to try to go after the emotive aspects of being surrounded by natural beauty.
