As a musician, I have, what we'll call, opinions on music and such.One of the reasons why I've never learned to play the flute was because I didn't want to be called a flautist.
The bassoon is, quite frankly, the best instrument. Ever.
Percussion is perhaps the most important instrument in an orchestra. Percussion players, on the other hand, tend to be the opposite.
I want to play the euphonium mainly because I feel bad for people who already do.
'Classical music' does not mean the same thing as 'orchestral music.' Just because an orchestra is playing the piece does not make it classical.
Michael Angelo Batio may be an extremely fast guitar player, but I think he's rotten. Speed doesn't denote a good musician.
I can't listen to a harpsichord for longer than about 3 minutes. After that point, I begin foaming at the mouth and falling over backwards.
