# About me
Thanks for visiting my page! At the moment I'm focusing a lot on six-word stories but I have a few (longer) short stories on the horizon and am trying to keep a steady stream of poems coming. Constructive criticism is welcomed on all my work as I feel it can only help me improve. At the moment I'm looking at the use of metaphors in poems.Also:
- I only favourite art that I genuinely love. I don't favourite because I know/like the artist or they've favourited a piece of mine.
- I sometimes comment without favouriting. I'm happy for others to do the same. I'd rather have a detailed comment than a favourite any day.
- I sometimes favourite without commenting. If I do this it's because I can't think of anything detailed to say - I don't see the point of commenting just to say I like it. I just love the art and want to be able to view it again easily and share it with others.

Umm, well I've been really busy with work so I took a break from dA - I'm not really on here much even though things have quietened down at work since I know it's about to flare back up again.

Oh, you know, the foolishness of undertaking a two year MSc under particularly demanding people is starting to dawn upon me. That sort of thing. (also, ten deadlines in the next six weeks is making me hyperventilate...)

My birthday was good fun, some friends were getting married yesterday and they had a barn dance at the reception ^_^

It is. One of these days I'm going to pick a day and simply be not busy the whole day. (Just as soon as a I figure out what a not busy person does.)

Well, it's co-ordinated group dancing to traditional music (this particular music was primarily played on the accordion), with a person at the front calling out the instructions for people (like me) who don't know what they're doing. Lots of swinging your partner 'round and 'round
I think "not busy" people do whatever they enjoy doing, rather than whatever they're expected/required to do. So I used to play video games, read, write or play the guitar. I intend to do lots of that once this assessment is finished and my funding is extended for another year and a half.
