Have you read the William King's novels on Space wolves before?
It follows the adventures of Ragnar Blackmane, and gives insight on the culture of the Space Wolves.

I tried to read William King's Space Wolf trilogy back in the day, but I wasn't a fan of his writing style. My wife had read the series and gave me her interpretation of the culture, which had informed my writing of Vegi Bloodclaw and other Space Wolf characters. Maybe I'll try reading it again after I get through A Thousand Sons, but that book has also proven to be tough to digest in the middle.

Do you know Ragnar has his own novel as well?
I have read some of William King's Space Wolf novels, and I find them interesting despite deviating from canon since it was written a long time ago.
A Thousand Sons? It's a heartbreaking story, and yes...the middle and fall of that Legion was hard to read through. I shed tears when I read the ending.

Ragnar had two trilogies written by William King and Lee Lightner (Space Wolf -> Wolf's Honor) Are you referring to a different book from those?
I agree that they're interesting. My wife also read the original Space Marine novel and described some of the scenes... Deviation is putting it lightly. Wow.
Also between you, my wife, and my friends, I finally finished A Thousand Sons.
It wasn't really emotionally hard to read, I just plain didn't like the Thousand Sons as they were characterized. The Tutelaries were interesting but as far as I know, they really only came into play in this book as a one shot idea. It really felt like Graham was really constrained and wasn't allowed to create much of anything regarding Magnus and the Thousand Sons, which is a real shame.

I was referring to this new book by Aaron Dembski Bowden:Β www.blacklibrary.com/all-produβ¦
Yes indeed, although the Fenris they described was very different from the codexes. XD I remember Ragnar managed to get some "intimacy" with a girl of his tribe before being chosen hours later. LOLZ
I understand, I hope it's acceptable to you.
I do like the tutelaries, very interesting. True, there's only so much he can cram into one story, and I feel really sad when I saw the TS eventual fall to Chaos.

Thank you!
The vast majority of the non-colored images were from my time taking requests on the Traditional Games board on 4chan nearly ten years ago. I had a lot of hits, but also a LOT of misses, only a fraction of which found their way into my Scraps gallery.

Would you mind if I used your representation of the krieger (cut and pasted from the comic) as an avatar?

John just sent me the Alex comic you made. There are no words to express my gratitude, this was awesome and far beyond my wildest expectations (wrote that before I saw the clone rape D.
Even then, thank you.

My initial goal with the comic was to satisfy as mny parties as possible with the comic. Riding in he wake of Love Can Burn obligated me to carry on the joke.
And don't think I've abandoned your avatar to yourselves(?)... I do plan to make a second part to this comic in the near future.

Well, more comics is always a plus. Besides, I did laugh when I saw the ending, completely unexpected.
