Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed the complexity of your composition. Did you plan it out before you started, or did it come to you in layers?

well actually I guess I kind of cheated haha. I never got to really meet my grandfather, and apparently he did a lot of artwork that I didn't know about until recently. He called them "hydroils" and I really only added an abstract sort of cartoon-ish layer over top of some 50 cent pieces that never sold. I'm going to figure out how the heck he did it, then I'm going to start sharing the wealth! Thanks though! Although I am a cheater.. :/

Hey, it works. The layer you added is what really brings the story into it, you know, like dangerous and desperate. The melty liquidity (i think i made that word up) brings in confusion and, well, even though there is a lot going on, but it sends a really strong signal as an abstract / expressionist piece. You definitely added to it, you and your grandpa work well together, even though you never met.

Wow, thanks so much! I never actually received many opinions from other artists on my work(there aren't many from where I live for some odd reason) so I really appreciate your encouragement!
