Another girl thinks we've been scammed. :/ I honestly don't know. She said she was sick the last time we spoke, so generally, I'm concerned if she's all right. But I'm also pretty peeved that I've not received any notification otherwise.

ugh ._. i hate when people do this, i really think most artist should never do the pay first before getting art thing.. i think middle ground should always be met.. sketch, then pay half... then final wip with huge watermark on art, then pay the other half and we get non-watermark version. i think that is more fair... from now on i will try ask artists this way. im tired of scamming artists. they really give artists bad reputation

I agree. I can't say much, I always do payment upfront because I've been scammed by someone never paying. :/ 
But, I provide a sketch, lines and base color, and I always have a connection with my commissioners an keep in touch. Because like this, I've had many a times happened where I'm scammed; I know how it feels, so I'd never cheat a customer.

I think I made my commission around the end of Feb. I don't remember the exact date. She said that she was sick. And that once she got better, she'd start on it. I told her to take her time and to keep me updated.

But no response since early March.

I've had a lot of artist scamming lately and its extremely petty. Its points. Like seriously. Grow up. I just report them now.

Same here. I've had a bunch of people con me out of cash and points. When real money is involved I get vicious. 5$ isn't a lot - but it's still money.
