Okay, I've figured out how to upload a picture on here. lol But I want to make that picture my 'ID' picture or something, like I've seen on other people's pages. How would I go about doing that? And also, I've noticed there's a shoutbox next to that picture too... is that a shoutbox for all of deviantart.com or is it my own personal shoutbox? lol I probably sound like a ditz, but who cares, every newbie has their moments I don't know why I'm asking questions to this thing... would somebody read this? I am:
A seventeen year old high school student from Western Australia experimenting with different forms of visual expression. I've joined this community in order to learn from others and hopefully receive some tips on how I can improve my skills and eventually develop a style of my own. My interest in art began as a child and over the past two years I have seriously considered a career in the field, however I've recently decided against this - instead opting to study arts and humanities at university.

{pencil, charcoal, watercolours, oil paints; photography, film; Photoshop; manga, anime; portraits and the human figure}

I guess I'm just gonna try to figure out how to get this thing working for a while. I'm still a bit nervous about submitting any "art" of mine.
