Hey there! I love your deviations. You have such a diverse portfolio. Really cool. I especially liked your magazine collages. I have a crap ton of magazines and I've made a couple PS brushes out of pictures from them, but it's difficult to get good high-quality scans, imo because of the way the pages are printed. Yeah, it's actually undergone a GUI change since I've been a part of it. I like this new version quite a lot. Much like 4thK, if you find that you like the site enough, the features that you get when you pay for a subscription are very helpful. Let me know if you have any questions I might be able to assist with.

One of the things I enjoy most about this community is the fan devotion to the artists they love. As you might imagine, people will always steal from other artists, claiming work as their own, etc. Interestingly, some of the artists that I have been a fan of a for a long time here have had fans point out where there work is being copied for profit on things like flasks on eBay and the like. Fans just go apeshit. If they find the person that has stolen the work, they'll do everything in their power to yank the rug out from under the thief.

So, long story short, the sense of community here is fierce, and once you establish a fan-base, they'll probably be quite loyal and appreciative of your talents. Some really really cool talented people here.

Austin is great. Now that you mention it, I think I recall reading that over on 4tk somewhere. I only spent a brief time there visiting my friend who was going to culinary school, but I got a cool vibe from it. Like the only redeeming part of TX. Much like Lawrence, KS.

I am so glad you brought me over here, I am getting great feedback. Not to say anything bad about 4k, but really no one says anything or even looks. Like one post got 3 looks. Sucks for me.
