That's quite all right! I'm a pretty big introvert and I don't show up too often, myself.

On the friendliness scale, I'm roughly twice as difficult to befriend as a great dane, and significantly easier to befriend than a typical bank robber, to give you some context for your initial friendship calculations.
In any case, I find that Fermi estimation is the best tool for beginning any social situation*

I'm trying to remember if there was any particular character/story/whatnot that inspired it, but I'm not sure there was. I doodled some alien characters in a sketchbook one time and gave them four eyes, liked it, and it stuck.

Ahh. As for me, I think Pokemon and Digimon played a huge part in my childhood, as well as some other old Saturday morning anime where some short kid makes friends with monsters in order to turn them good away from bad or something.

And to be honest, I don't know. I might have been searching for multifur or transformation stuff on dA/FA, and there you were. It's even possible that I saw your pre-alien stuff back when I was beginning to get into taurs myself.

I've forgotten how I found most of my internet-pals over the years, too... It's like one big blur, and I'm not sure how much of it actually happened. It makes me happy that 'pre-alien' is a useful indicator of time-frame with regard to myself, though!

I also wonder how you got into the whole "multifur" stuff to begin with too. Multiple parts (and even taking off and reattaching parts, though that is unrelated) have always intrigued me a bit, especially the surprisingly sizable community that loves them.

It just makes me wonder on why these weird groups of furries even exist to begin with. Not only do you have your multilimb, multihead, and modular stuff, you also have your amputees, many different styles of transformation, hypnosis, even anthro planes. And don't even get me started on the other stuff I witnessed over the years while researching commissions...

How do you think these groups came to be, and why do these groups even love what they love?
