I'm nearing the last set of exams for my first year in University, so I won't be doing it in the next week or two.
I'll get back to you when I start it, but I'm sorry to say I have a tendancy of finding it hard to start.
Also, just because I noticed: Alucard is indeed awesome. Its nearly unfair how overpowered he is.

Hey Adam! Still hoping that your computer woes have all been resolved. Thanks for all your advice. I am definitely considering joining some clubs. I've also been talking to anyone whose work I fav, or has faved me, which has resulted in some additional interest. I gonna be away for a few days. Hopefully will return with some good material. Should have a lot of animal shots if all goes as planned. Supposed to go to one of those drive-thru zoo type things. We'll see. Talk to you later, and wishing you the best!

Hey Adam,
I know it's not just my imagination, or paranoia about the recognition skew. I saw a close up photo of the grainy end of a piece of firewood on dA, nothing more,and it had more than a thousand views, in less than a week. What's going on?

maybe the person who took the photo is well known. Usually the more people watching you, the more views you get.
I know that is a big factor, I have taken some pretty good photos that are better than other's and even drawn some stuff better than other people and they still get more views because they are friends with more people than I. Usually the more you socialize on this site the more views you get. Although I could be wrong :/

Hey Adam,
Hope you're okay. Once again I'm frustrated and dismayed. This evening, Thursday night, I posted some of my best, latest stuff on-line,only to receive single digit views. Knowing that folks are busy on weekends, then take awhile to come back around once the work-week starts, Thursday night seemed like a logical choice to hit it hard. Then in my frustration, when I check out recent popular submissions,I find the most inane submissions getting hundreds or thousands of views. Please help me to make sense of it all. Sorry to be such a downer.

Don't worry, I'm sure the more people you befriend, the more views you will get. Try and joining some clubs that feature the type of art that you like. When I joined the photographers clubs the subbmitted deviations got tons of views, by tons i mean like 30-60. It's pretty cool, try it out.

Hope you're completely recovered by now. That engine exchange project is way out of my league. I never got to take any useful mechanics/shop/forestry/ag classes in high school, but I still remember a few french words from three years of that, along with all the other college prep. crap. I feel bad for you with your camera/computer situation, and hope you're up and running soon. Is your computer fully functional by now? And yes, I had a great trip to the coast. Evan

well, my computer works for the most part, but it can't connect to the net, and I'm stuck here on my laptop. And I still have to get a key for photoshop from my friend. He's being a little gay about it but w/e. And im sure if some one showed you how to swap out an engine you would think it's easy. Really the hardest part about it is connecting and disconnecting all the wires and stuff.

Wow! Sounds like you had a great time!
I'm recovering from some unknown illness (i hope I'm recovering lol). Midweek last week I did my first motor swap on my friends car, it was exciting. I brought my camera to take photos through the process but I left my memory card stuck in my computer. And I have yet to get Photoshop again so I can edit the photos that have been stacking up. I normaly shoot in the RAW format and I have no program to convert them. :/
