yea no prob, u make some awesome dolls/puppets/plushies (not sure what u call them). sry i didnt get back to u sooner, didnt go to the site for a couple days. but yea i like zombie no.11 + Zombie no.8 for their details, look, and colors. rude awakening cause its different, and you pulled it off well. and then pokey bear and tetsuo for that cute yarn teddy from hell look.

oh nd i was thinking that maybe like pokey, you could sew some yarn into one of your zombies, make it look like its guts are coming out.

hey no problem, you make some amazing photos. i just have a question, do you alter your photos at all or is every photo the way you took it?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

l8 In reply to acjk [2007-02-24 21:04:28 +0000 UTC]

Well, what a lot of people don't realise is that virtually every single professional photographer (of which I don't class myself by any stretch of the imagination) alters there photograph in some shape or form. As far as I can tell there are three areas regarding working on a photograph...
1) Digital Darkroom - This is where things like changing the contrast, dodging and burning the highlights and shadows etc in software graphics programs like Photoshop digitally instead of physically with film in the darkroom. These are not classed as altering or manipulation.
2) Colouring - The use of colour casting and split toning methods to colour the photo like adding a sepia tone to the photo. Depending how drastic the effect is, really depends if it should fall under section 1 or section 3 and is a bit of a gray area.
3) Photo Manipulation - This is where you actually digitally interfere with the photo by cutting out parts of the image, adding other images or "manipulating" it.

Most of my work comes under the first category so therefore officially they aren't altered just enhanced like in the darkroom. Quite a few few of them come under the 2 category and then 1 or 2 of them are manipulations.

I hope this answers your question
