He's a swiper. These aren't his original artworks. Take his Black Cat picture, for example. It's a swipe. [link] by Ed Benes and the background [link] by David Finch.

He shouldn't get booted. I think he did a great job recreating both elements of Benes and Finch pieces.
I believe he trains under Benes so it is completely understandable that swiping is occurring (probably Benes' suggestion to really hammer in his technique). Most people can't even imitate Benes (hell I can't) so I still commend him for his work.

He doesn't train under Benes, and it's not his work. What part of this don't you understand? He traced a Benes and Finch picture, not recreated it. I've spoken to other artists who have trained under Benes. He doesn't have them trace his work, or have them imitate his style; he just teaches them drawing fundamentals and gives them feedback on their own work. I've also spoken to adrianocoldplay's former art rep. Emphasis on "former".
Allow me to explain something to you...... if you imitate another artist, it is called a "swipe". It is frowned upon in the artist community. If you do it without crediting the original artists and claim it to be your own work, it is plagiarism. Many artists are publicly discredited and/or lose their jobs. If you want to see how damaging this can be, go Google the name "Robert Granito" and educate yourself.
I know about adrianocoldplay's gallery because the artist community has already started circulating his DA page through private channels, pointing out what a swiper he is and frowning upon his gallery. It is an insult to the artists who he has ripped off. Benes is only one of them; Finch is another in this particular piece, but there are others.
He doesn't know enough about drawing fundamentals to do his own work. His own art is nowhere near this good, and that's because he traced the foreground image and the background image from two different sources like he thought nobody would know.
Believe me, people know.

That is quite the response. I do appreciate being informed of this artist deception (and Benes teaching style), and upon further inspection of this guy's works, It looks too close to Benes' works (and the facial work seem kinda off which is typically a giveaway.) I do also appreciate the google search inquiry. I naively gave him the benefit of the doubt. This can happen. However I don't the need the condescending borderline angry response. I respect your passion for protecting artists work's as I'd hate (and you, I'd assume) to be on the wrong end of such dubious practices but we're (I'm assuming again) adults. Condescension isn't necessary. Thanks again.
