Yes I did recieve your e-mail earlier on. I just like to use dA a lot I guess.
 I didnt know about this movie either but kinda funny coincidence you mentioned it earlier and then I run across this. I saw the same company did another HpL movie as well whit :The call of chutulu (or how it's spelled) both films got rather great rewiews but I couldn't find a place to buy the other movie, just whisper in the darkness on DVD.

I saw Call of Cthulhu. And I read that this movie made in the same style - stylized as silent movies of 1930s. It's for fans of the genre, not all would like it. Also I'd like to watch Necronomicon, film based on three stories by Lovecraft.

Necronomicon? How come I never heard of these movies..
 You know the alien movies whit the artist HR.Giger as the designer of the aliens, Giger said himself that his art is a lot inspired by necronomicon by lovecraft. Lovecraft said he was inspired by Edgar allan poe. I can see the resemblence even if both writers still have their own unique style. Kinda like Stephen king reminds me a bit of lovecraft I guess, especially in the way he is able to make sense to difficult details in his work but still King have his own unique style as well. Like that satiric humor that lacks in both Poe and Lovecraft. I feel it there are more love  in King as well. Both lovecraft and Poe's works feels for the most very isolated and lonely. Especially Poe.

I've just watched Necronomicon. It left mixed feelings. There was so little left from the original stories in the script, but atmosphere is really lovecraftian, especially in first story. Also interesting idea was to add H.P. Lovecraft himself in the movie as the character. And actor who played 
Lovecraft looked good. Episodes with him inspired me the most.
