I don't think I've been to Cabbagetown but it's supposed to be this cool old historic place. It's close to Little Five Points and two MARTA stations. You'd probably like it.

I just got a D40, do you know of any telephoto lenses that will work with it?

pretty much anyone will work. nikons are very compatible. i.e. AF-S/AF-I nikkor lenses. honestly i don't use telephoto so i couldn't begin to give you a lot of names, but i'd recommend taking your camera to an actual camera store. not best buy or anything like that, but a genuine camera shop. people there usually know what they're talking about. and oh, never buy equipment off ebay. that stuff can be pretty sketch even if it looks cheaper, it probably wont work as well.
