You're welcome!
If you have PhotoShop, you can do awesome lineart without a tablet. I don't have a tablet either.
But you should keep on drawing in normal paper and keep on doing traditional art. Digital art isn't really better than traditional art.

I know you can do good digital art even without a tablet (you're the best proof^^) and i even have a Photoshop like software, but it's rubbish - or probably i don't have the patience...
the good versions of PS are so expensive that i think a tablet would be better...
maybe i get one at my birthday *hopefully*
but until that time and even if i get one i'll of course continue drawing on paper... it's just the thing that i always have to erase too much which makes my pictures often look very... dunno the word, sorry^^... messy? you'll know what i mean... with a tablet they wouldnt
and there is also this colour thing... probably because of my scanner, pencils or dunno why but they look always so pale...

And i just like digital anime drawings!^^

Hm? PhotoShop-like software? What's the name of the program?

I use PhotoShop to do my anime CG but I've heard that Open Canvas is better for doing anime CG. Maybe you can try buying that one instead? Or, you can buy both Open Canvas and a tablet.
Ah, and Paint Shop Pro is pretty good, too. PhotoShop is too expensive. I got a copy from...friends, let's say.

I erase on EVERY single line. My sketches look messy. Very messy indeed. But PhotoShop has a tool called Pen Tool. I use that to "ink" so well with the mouse. Paint Shop Pro also has the Pen Tool but PS's is better. But, you can always ink your work and erase the messy smudges on the PC.

Oh, and every scanner messes up the colors big time. Here's an example of my traditional art colored with color pencils: [link]

It's just called Photostudio, it came up with our canon digicam... i use it at least sometimes to erase some of the big smudges or getting pics on the right size. (i have never used PS before so i can only suppose this is some similar thing)

I heard before of Open canvas to be very good, but dunno what it costs...
though with the mouse it's jsut not the same feeling like using a pen and so i think a tablet would be good for me...

Maybe i'll ask my granma for some birthday money to spend on Open Canvas...

and it's good to see that it's not me but scanner's fault the pics are messed up...^^

I've never seen or used Photo Studio. :/ But if you say it helps much for erasing smudges, at least it's good for something cool!

Good luck on buying what you need! I have more fun coloring on the PC than in real paper.
