I thought it needed a little something extra so why not just go the whole hog and go nuts with the effects huh? Regards the leaf, that ain't no leaf and no there is no stabbing involved. in the original sketch he had wings, but I thought that they were too "happy" for that picture, so instead I left just a solitary feather of light falling to the ground, sort of symbolizing his wings being drawn back into his body. Personal note for anyone who comes to this page:
Alemap, aka Pam, is a close friend of mind, and my personal critique. She has an eye for art, she can pick things out and tell you how to improve them. She is wonderfull at this, and I always tend to show her my works before they are finished, just to get her opinion. She truly has a gift for seeing things, so do not take her advice as offensive, because so many here do at DA. But consider it a blessing and look at your work like it wasnt yours, and you will perhaps notice the things she sees. Thankyou everyone for your time* Gets off his soapbox* (pam you should put this in your journal........lollllllllllllllllll.........muahahahahahah)

i'll assume you found me by Kurtis/DarklyArtistic, i've posted on most everything he's done.
I hardly ever post my poetry, yet, the other day, i posted a lot of it. So far as poetry goes, it sucks, i know it does. I hate standard structures and feel that having rules on poetry is contradictory in terms. Thus, most of it sucks when compared to most standards.
That being said, i must thank you greatly for your comments on some of my most recent poetry. While i don't particularly agree with everything you mentioned, you made some GREAT points and i'll probably take you comments into consideration in the future.

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

anyhow, here is an answer to your question. That "cord" is actually supposed to be a laser sight thingy. it is attached to the bottom of the gun. I don't know much about guns as you know...so forgive me if that is technically incorrect.
