No, I'm not there anymore, I left just at the beginning of the heat wave. Yeah, it's some pretty terrible stuff. The heat in the city is apparently unbearable. Then outside Moscow many small villages are completely surrounded with forests and fields, which have dried and easily catch on fire. I hear they have some kind of major plan to irrigate water into the driest areas. Let's just hope that works

Hopefully the weather breaks and they get some rain too. Glad you're not there during all this; although, I'm sure you would have been able to get some interesting photos of people trying to cool off in the city and some surreal shots of the city in the haze of the smoke
