Are you a Joy Division fan? I saw "Transmission" in your gallery. Have you ever heard of Shriekback? Barry Andrews from early XTC, Dave Allen from Gang of Four-and their album "Oil and Gold" is great. Songs like "Fish Below the Ice", "Everything That Rises Must Converge"-I think you'd like them. They had a semi-hit with "Gunning for the Buddha" from the album "Big Night Music."

I've been thinking about that recently. Like, if the people that the majority of these things are directed at saw them, how would they react? When it comes down to it, I think they know already, so I really don't give a shit.

The good thing (or bad thing, depending on the situation) about people is that a lot of them are cowards, and even if they read something that they suspect is directed at them, they usually won't mention it. But in the end it's all just a long winded way of saying "i love you" or "i hate you" or something in between, so like you said, I think they already know.

Oh god, you liked Requiem for a Dream?
Don't get me wrong, it's actually an incredible movie and has a huge message that it gets across in an intense way.
I just don't think I could ever, ever watch it again.

Yeah, the whole movie was definitely made very well. Great acting, great directing, even the score was phenomenal. I also really don't see the whole "drug" message as very important. I was really just interested in the movie's depiction of addiction (to anything), and how it effects behavior.
It is definitely one of those movies that wouldn't be able to watch at a high frequency, though.

Oh, I loved the score, especially. And I agree. The most painful storyline for me personally was the mother's... her drugs were legal and they kept treating her problems with more drugs and it was just...

I feel that my only purpose in life right now is to mindlessly entertain people at the most shallow and basic level that I can. I truly haven't been interested in getting to know any knew people that I've met in the past couple of months.
I'm glad you took an interest in me, though. Most people would probably just call me crazy close their browser, etc.
Sadly, I don't really give a shit about too much these days. So I guess that's my own personal flaw.
