Hussain Alheidary is born in Bagdad. After his student period, he workt for several magazines as an illustrator. He settled in london in 1991. Hi Hussain, thanks for faving the "Bleak House..." photograph. Perhaps not my favourite submission and certainly not the cheeriest landscape I've captured but I did like recreating the effect of an old vintage post card. I clearly remember equally unwelcoming views on cards, with slightly distorted colour tones and browned edges, outside seaside shops when I was a kid...
