Red Engine Press is calling all comics artists who would like to contribute their work for an upcoming indie zine coming out in July 2010. The main intent of the zine is to create awareness on emerging Filipino comics artists and their work.

Each contributing artist gets a page to showcase their work: Teasers, comics, character sketches are welcome as long as it fits the page. The Artists' blog, website, contact details and short bio will also be featured. You may also include information where people can purchase your comics.

wow.. just seriously.. wow. Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! your work is so beautiful. I noticed you are a graphic designer, how do you like the career? Would you recommend it? I am going to be applying for graphic design in college by the end of this month, and I am still pretty torn whether I want to get into Interior Design, or Graphic Design, it would be really great to hear from someone who is an actual Graphic Designer.

Being astonished by your henna works, I wanted to ask you a question... How long exactly does henna stay on? :? (Confused) Because I do my fake tattoos with a regular 4-color pen.. And it fades off very fast :( (Sad)

it usually stays for a couple of weeks, depending on how often you take a shower hahaha. thicker application lasts longer ofcourse.

it's powder. i mix it with a lil water then apply it like watercolor.

i only use paintbrush for my tattoos since i apply it like watercolor. some uses empty glitter glue squeeze tube mounted with syringe needle, but you have to cut it shorter to half an inch.

it's easy when you get used to it. for light shades i use wash technique which means more water for thinner application.

I bought henna today ^_^ So I'm gonna start experimenting :) (Smile) I think I'm gonna try applying it with a brush, like you do :O (Eek)
Concerning that method, when you're finished applying, you have to leave it to dry right? (does it work like : the more you put on, the darker it is? And the longer you leave it to dry, the darker it is?) And do I have to put the left overs in the fridge?
