I love your style! Very cool! Umm, I've been doing pic manip for a long time actualy, I just started doing that style of pic manip a few months ago
I'm not tooo great at it, but I feel that my pictures are getting a little better. Secrets and It Hurts are my current favorites.
I'm still sketching though!

Thanks for the comment on [link] . This one was one of those stream of consciousness works. No planning or meaning pre-selected prior. I like doing that because it's always an interesting challenge to see what comes up and what you can decipher. Also leaves it to open interpretations.

regarding your comment on my piece 'the day you die', red eyes are NOT original at all...do you honestly think that just because you put up a pic of red eyes that everyone else who does so after did it because YOU did it?! i swear...a little self-obsorbed aren't we...red eye art pieces are very unoriginal, many people do them all the time...don't flatter yourself darling.

What an interesting question; "Was it an easy choice not to show any part of the head."

There are so many ways to take thatt, I don't know if I can give it a binary answer though it seems to be a binary proposition.

Let's just say that what captured (and continues to capture) my attention about the figure here is the play of light across the shapes of anatomy in the back. I can paint faces, and expression, but I didn't want that to be the focus of the picture, and I would also think that it would take away some of the ambiguity, as I tend to draw extreme expressions. And I wanted this piece to be one where the viewer could make of it what they could..
