Hahah, I kept forgetting as well, I'm glad I finally remembered!

A NOTE OF CAUTION! Don't do what I did, and start your day with 2 black Raktajinos! I got to work, and felt like there was a bat'leth tournament going on in my stomach! It was a little too much XD plus I drank them black. I took the jar I had made up to work with me though, and after a while, I had one of the other girls make me one up, I told her "two large teaspoons, and a bit of milk" and that was actually quite nice and much less of a punishment on my stomach. XD STIR WELL. The one she made me left lumps in bottom of the mug. :E

So I think Raktajino should be taken like coffee... you drink it black and strong in the morning or when you're really tired, but the rest of the time you have it with milk. (Unless you really do have a stomach like a Klingon haha!) I've also made up a second version now with some Cadbury's drinking chocolate powder thrown into the mix, but haven't sampled it yet. Starting to look like a right nerd with labelled jars of Raktajino on my kitchen shelf XD XD

I figure it's like coffee though. I mean everyone has their own preferences, some people like bigger or smaller spoonfulls than others and some like sugar, and then you get all the fancy blends of coffee like mocha and cappucino... I figure Raktajino is pretty much the same in that you find your own preferred blend and can have it with or without milk/sugar etc. XD

I'm gonna have to make a "I drink Raktajino" stamp soon....

Yes, that stamp must be made I'm thinking of trying a 'Raktalatte' lmao I think the blend would be really nice milky too... its for the artsy Klingons I added the stuff to my grocery order so tomorrow I shall experiment

Urggghhh ok.... just tried it....

I'm not sure that I'm half Klingon after all, lol! I tried a single serve and used about 2 tsps of cocoa, 1 of coffee, 1 of cinnamon and a sprinkle of nutmeg. It was too strong I think maybe I used too much spice...

It really did taste like something Klingon though. A steaming hot mug of Worf lol! And the episode where they expose Martok as a Changeling was on TV at the time

Ahhh yes, I just watched that! XD

Hmm, I used a LOT more cocoa... about 4 or 5 teaspoons of cocoa to one teaspoon of cinnamon... that'll lighten the cinnamon flavour a lot since it is pretty strong. You just need to find the right blend I think... try adding some chocolate powder as well, and drink it with some milk... also try adding some brown sugar to sweeten it if you need to... I think that will help XD It'll be like... a raktajino moccha XD

I remember that one! GOD My ex was obsessed with that episode. It was like one of the first he saw, and whenever he saw the Doctor in another episode after that, he was like "where's his family? OMG HE FORGOT HIS FAMILY! !!!!!" even after I explained like a million times it was a one time thing... it got so fucking annoying.

fun fact: the woman who plays the Doctor's wife is Mrs Smith in American Dad.
