I've lost focus, I'm aimless.

I can't find any inspiration. I'm trying new mediums and I'm saving up for a macro. We'll see where that takes me yeah?

not too much to tell. I'm a member of a site called DPChallenge.com (DigitialPhotoChallenge) and some of the European members held a workshop and get together in Meunster Germany, where they live. It was a great learing experience to see how other photographers work too. They are definately all more vocal than I am. I learned that I need to tell the models exactly what to do and when, not leave it up to them. It was fun though. I hope you get your inspiration back. Mine was gone too. but the trip was incredibly rejuvinating, of course now that I'm back my husband let the house become a huge unmanagable mess and my son is sick so it's back to crappy mommy 101. But my five minutes of freedom as "Photographer" were priceless.

Oh I'm SO jealous! I probably need something to kick start my creativity, but I'm just having a hard time. Life's been pretty hectic too, so there's that.

I wish I could use models more. I can't find many people who are used to being in front of the camera, especially not for free, so I have to work with my friends. I love working with people who just...do their thing and ignore the camera but none of my friends are like that except Matthew. I think it's because his sister is an artist and he's used to it. But alas, my favorite, most relaxed human subject is getting ready for college and is too busy for me.
Ahh well. Hey! I think I may be going on a trip across the big pond. I want to visit England, France, and Italy. I just need to learn the languages first...I don't want to go to a country and not know the language. I'd look like a jerk...and I'd be a tad lost, hahaha. Maybe I'll pick something up then.
