Love Lisa Kleypas, Karen Moning, Stephenie Meyer, Linda Howard, Shannon Hale, Robert Jordan, Tolkien, CS Lewis ("Till We Have Faces" made me bawl like a baby), Kristin Billerbeck, Rene Gutteridge, 99% of Terri Blackstock's stuff, and most Karin Slaughter (some of her politicizing annoys me). I like authentic characters in books. Although I love Christian fiction, I find that too many authors (maybe this is due to pressure from the publisher) make Mary Sue characters. Real world Christians are flawed (as we ALL are).
