Yeah, can't believe it right? Just two years ago, I was a sophomore 😭 graduation is right around the corner. And yes! Like all these finals, deadlines, exams and senior projects are clottering up rapidly.

I haven't been able to sleep well for the past few days. So I know how you feel. And I know the feeling, I'm scared to graduate because I don't want high school to end just yet. I'll miss my friends, my teachers and how easy life is at the moment but we have to grow up at some point right?

Also, I didn't know you were a senior, possibly around my age, unless you aren't and are in college? Sorry, sometimes I ramble a lot lately 😅

Oh, boy. Sleeping schedules. Ughh. LOL. I know how that feels. Especially when it comes to finals week. I usually find myself finally in bed after a stressful day dead tired just to stay up for an extra hour or 2 thinking about all the stuff I need to get done in the morning. Then when I wake up, I find that I only slept for like, 3 hours. The struggle is real. LOL. The only thing I can suggest is to drink chamomile tea. It "supposedly" helps calm your nerves. That, and not thinking about schoolwork before bed. Haha!

And nope. Not high school. But I remember that scared and anxious feeling of graduating high school. I'd say one of the hardest things about it is saying good-bye to all your friends that you've spent every day with then either leaving them behind or vise versa and keeping in touch with them. But I think that leaving grade school and going out into the world is one of the most exciting things about it. I left home to go to school in practically another world but I don't regret it for a second. Trust me. You'll meet new people and go to new places and just living the life you were meant to live and it'll be amazing.

Geez, I sound like a cheesy graduation card. LOL! But I'm sure you get my point. You're a smarty.

Haha, yeah. Having no sleep at all sucks so much. I haven't gotten any sleep these past few days and when I finally do, its only like three or two hours at most. If I'm lucky.

My sleep schedule sucks major butt 😞 which causes my attitude to rise up more 😒 but I'm still trying 😃

And yes, the struggle is real, so for now I'll be taking benedril. It knocks me out but omg, the side affects make you feel so freaking weird! I don't know why...


But I'm glad I'm not the only one who delt with their random sleeping patterns, lol.

Wait, so you aren't a high school student? Then college student or just a full time worker? Jesus, I can't wait to graduate but at the same time, I don't want to graduate at all.

Like you just said, I don't want to move on in life. I have amazing friends, teachers I admire and adore and a great education. It just sucks that in six months, I'll be walking that stage and won't be able to experience high school anymore.

Its been an amazing run, but good things soon come to an end. I'm just not ready at the moment 😭 us that childish of me?

Also, I've always day dreamed about going somewhere new. Studying somewhere new and experiencing a whole new lifetime somewhere else. At first, I felt excited, to do something different for once but then I remembered I'm afraid of change.

Its comforting and frightening at the same time so I don't know. But I'd give it a shot .

Hey!

Sorry it's taken me like an entire month to reply. These past few weeks have been kinda hectic. My whole "social life/sleep/school balance" thing has kinda taken the figurative appearance of a hurricane. But I have the day off tomorrow for MLK so I get to laze around for a bit before I start psychologically dying again. LOL.

And to answer your question: Nope. Not high school. University grad. Kinda wish I was in high school 'cause graduating from college is a lot more intimidating. It's like officially graduating into adulthood. I totally understand how you feel. I've fallen in love with college and it's become one of the best experiences of my life. But once graduation comes, it's almost like reality is a giant 18-wheeler that hits you at 85 miles per hour and you're feet are cemented to the cold, hard asphalt. 

Thinking about what I was going to be when I "grew up" back in the day seems more like daydreams compared to the kinds of questions I'm asking myself now that I'm on that borderline. Questions like: "Where am I gonna find a job? Where am I gonna live? Will I have enough money to pay for it? What am I gonna do about food? Am I going to have enough for that as well? Are the gas prices going to skyrocket again? How will I be able pay for that as well?" Honestly, the thought terrifies me.

I swear I'm not trying to scare you. LOL. You probably have your life more put together than mine. I know it sounds cliche, but I'm comforted in the knowledge that if I try hard enough, everything is going to work out for the best. It may sound cheesy but I believe in it.
