i'm doing fine!! i'm still drawing, but not so much on the digital side, unfortunately. :c mostly i'm just drawing along my notes in lecture or maybe doing some traditional stuff, but i really want to get back into digital art ; 7 ;

bgless chibis living in an empty space...that is how i imagine life was so i don't have to draw backgrounds ; n ;

i had been working a a picture digitally that i haven't uploaded yet just cause the background needs so much more work ughhh

Oh that looks pretty good!
I really like the dynamic and the pose you're going for ;u;
For the sky I would suggest adding some background clouds, like those further away and thus looks bluer? The gradient in the sky I think needs a little more contrast as well~ look up a sky tutorial on dA, they're really helpful!

thank you so much!! ;v; i'm so bad at backgrounds...i try following sky tutorials and it never turns out the way i want it to hehe. it reminds me of that picture of how to draw an owl. ; 

i think im going to come back to the picture when im ready to try again, just because backgrounds discourage me so much D;

Yeah it's pretty hard so you have to experiment on your own XD
I just go through a range of colours to see what looks nice, you can also reference real life skies too XD
