naw, not rob; the other one. I can't remember his name. it was all hairy and stuff
hee! >.<
lucky boy. I thought it was such a good show. only thing I disagreed with was they sped up all the songs. didn't make it bad or anything; just made me want to go 'hey!'
I had to try not to stare at their penises. it was hard. oh so very hard. same thing when I went to hayden the other night. that stage is an awkward height. perfect for staring I guess XP

I came back from Pinback! THEY WERE TEH AWESOM
BTW, the other dude's named Zach. And you're right, the songs were kinda sped up. I kinda like it better that way actually....

my friend found a bunch of bands both zach and rob are involved in. I haven't heard any of it; but he says they're really good. I guess he confused a couple of the songs for pinback
yup yup
they are an awsome show. I told them they'd better come back soon
oh. I also forgot to tell you, my friend went to shake the keyboardist's hand and he gave him their playlist. oh ya >.<

Probably Heavy Vegatable, Three Mile Pilot, and/or Systems Officer. They're OK, but no Pinback.
DAMN YOUR LUCKY FRIEND

Few people I know have heard them, and that's what makes Pinback cool. Have you also een the movie that Pinback takes a lot of samples from, "Dark Star"??

It's a scifi/comedy student film by John Carpenter (of The Thing and Halloween fame) and Dan O'Bannon (who wrote the first Alien film). This film is basically about this space ship, Dark Star, whose mission is to destroy unstable planets in order for mankind to colonate a particular star system. Sgt. Pinback is the name of Dan O'Bannon's character, other characters are Doolittle and Talby. The ship has been gone for 20 years, and obviously being alone for that time would have driven them nuts, so... The movie isn't laugh-out-loud funny, but it's not bad. .... Pinback the band used a lot of samples from the movie, most notibly "This statement is for prosterity" from their song Rousseau, as well as "hyperdrive systems begun, hit it Pinback" from Some Voices. Good times.
