here is how u do so and if u really dont want to read this that ok...
How do I submit Artwork, Flash Animations or Literature?
With several ways to access the submission page, submitting art could never be more easier. Simply click on one of the acesss points entitled 'Submit Deviation' and follow the steps on screen to submit your artwork. In case you do not understand a step in the submission process we have broken this down for you later in this entry.
Deviation & Scrap Submission Points:
There are several ways to access the submission page;
1.) Clicking More, located in the Main Menu, next to the deviantART Logo, then clicking Submit & Organize, finalized by clicking on "Submit Deviation".
2.) Clicking the arrow next to your username at the top of every page on your messages bar, followed by "Submit Deviation".
3.) By clicking "Submit Deviation", located at the top right of your userpage.
Submitting your Deviation or Scrap:
Once on the submission page you will be presented with several options, below is what each of them is for.
Deviation Title and Category -
The first thing you will want to do is select a title for your Deviation, this should be entered in the "Deviation Title" field. This is what your submitted artwork will be called. Titles can contain spaces.
Next you will wish to select a Category. If you have submitted artwork in the past you can either choose between a frequently used Category or a new Category. If you have not submitted previously you will only be given the option to choose a new category. If you are submitting a scrap you would select 'No Category', which defaults the submission to your scraps.
If you you're not sure which Category to pick, you can Browse that category to see if it's right for your deviation. A Gallery Director might move your deviation if it appears to be in the wrong category.
Which File? Choosing or Adding One -
Choose "Which File" to use for your deviation by clicking on it to highlight it, this will mark the image to be submitted. If only one image is uploaded to your "File Deck" it will be auto highlighted and marked for upload. If the "File Deck" is empty, use the "Add a File" button to browse for the file on your computer, or "Add Text" button for Literature submissions, if your Literature submission is not saved in an .html or .txt file on your computer.
When you mark a file for upload you will be asked if you wish to keep the source file in this temporary area after the deviation has been submitted. Checking this option will keep the source file in this area for a period of one week. This option will mainly be best utilized for use in the Prints Program.
If you are submitting a Skin, Flash Animation, or a file in a format that cannot be converted by our conversion system to an image, you will also need to upload a separate Preview image to show in your Gallery and on Browse pages. Preview images must either be a jpeg, png or gif file and be 150x150px or smaller in width and height. To upload a preview image click on "add file" again and add your preview image from your computer to your File Deck. Now it's uploaded, click on the file you want as your deviation to select it and it will be highlighted blue. When you do this you'll notice below the file deck it will ask you for a preview image, click on the "choose" button and select the image file you uploaded for the preview.
Fullview Size - This option allows you to select either the original size of the file for the Full View image, or to choose a smaller sized image in width to be viewed (This last part only applies if the image is greater than 900 pixels in width).
Allow download of the original (full-sized) image - check this option if you wish to enable the "Download" option on the Deviations, that viewers can click, to see the image on their computers.
Artist's Comments, keywords, Deviation Options and Creative Commons -
Artists Comments - Enter a description of your work. Use the "Preview Comments" button to see how your comments will look on the Deviation page.
Keywords - Help others find your works in the Search function, by providing descriptive words about your submission.
Deviation Options - Select the commenting options you wish to assign to this Deviation.
Enable devMOBILE and blog access - Checking this option will make your submission available to devMOBILE users and through our Share This & Blog It service.
Contains Mature Content- "Yes (Strict)", "Yes (Warning)", "No". Mature Content is imagery or writing that contains nudity, sexual themes, violence/gore, strong language or ideologically sensitive subject matter.
Strict - Anyone under 18 will not be able to view your work. Use this if you do not feel comfortable with your subject matter being viewed by all ages. Keep in mind this does not mean you are allowed to post obscene material. The posting of pornographic materials is strictly forbidden.
Warning - Choosing warning will mark that your work contains Mature Content but will leave the option to see it in the viewers hands.
Creative Commons - Click the "Choose License." button to select the license you wish to apply to this Deviation."None" by default.
Other options use:
1. Allow Commercial Use
2. Allow Modifications
For more information on Creative Commons Licensing, please click here.
Finalizing your submission -
Click on the "Submit" button to qeue your submission, you will then be asked on the next screen if you wish to submit to deviantART alone, or make use of the Prints Service as well.
