Ah, maybe. But I actually have a stack of 9 books to read, in addition to a couple of book that are out, but not physically in our small town. Two of those are really small, but a few are long. I have to read the hobbit before the movie, and I have to re-read the dresden files before the next book because I forget. SO. WHEN I FIND TIME, PROBABLY BETWEEN BOOKS 5-6 I SHALL READ A DANCE WITH DRAGONS.AND WE SHALL DISCUSS. I'll let you know

Ahh, it was like " I am kinda looking forward to this". But then I saw a release date...and it was the day after my birthday.And then i read the synopsis. And then my brain exploded.

SOOO MUCH WANT.

The excitement from this and my birthday coupled with stress from school will kill me dead so much this November.

O.O YOU ARE MY FOREVER BOOK FRIEND.I'm just having difficulty thinking how he's going to make a trilogy, wrapping everything up in just one more book, however long, it just seems...impossible. Except I never tried any star wars stuff because there's just sooooo much.
And now, have you read anything by Peter V Brett, Brandon sanderson, joe abercrombie, brent weeks, or kevin hearne? And have you read the Lies of Locke Lamora?

I have only very recently started reading modern books...Mostly I read stuff written years ago. Piers Anthony, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Forgotten Realms...

Yes...waiting is the hardest part of reading all these modern books.
Before I would buy an entire series at a garage sale, or thrift store, or such. Since they were all old books...

I kinda gave up on the forgotten realms. I aged. It didn't.

Weellll, I liked them when I read them, but this was like grades 6-9, and I also liked twilight back then, but i would never read it now, sooooo... i also know almost nothing about starwars, which is the internet's main problem. I never read Inheritance, because i couldn't remember the plot. like at all.

I don't think Twilight deserves quite the hate it gets. It's really poorly written prose, but it's not the worst by any stretch.
Nor are the characters as flat as they are made to be. They aren't very rounded, but definitely not simple inserts. ...50 Shades of Gray has that covered. -cough

I wish I had more time. So I could balance Pokemon, and reading, and work. But alas....-dramatic sigh-

It's kind of a twilight fanfic, but what it basically does is it goes back and gives characters actual backstories, and it is written very well It's labeled a spitefic because the author thought that although she's not a brilliant author, she could do better than Meyer. Which I think is true. You should read it. In some of that non-existant time

I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY, BUT I SWEAR IT WILL NOT KILL YOUR BRAIN OR MAKE YOU RAGE. THE GRAMMAR IS EXCELLENT, THE WORDS ARE GOOD, and it is almost professional-author short story quality. Think of it as as good as 50 shades is bad. I SWEAR. In fact , it would probably work better just to think of it as an original thing, and not fanfiction. Cause I almost completely forgot it was actually based on something.
I may be exaggerating, but it's not bad.

Heh. I only do that once I have no books to read, no homework to do, no guitar to practice, and no new things on the internet to look at. And even then, I try not to read the horrible ones.Unless they're so bad it's funny. But even then, I can't tolerate too many spelling or grammar errors. I just can't read it if it's like that.
