However, AnimeSewing is practically dead . We have had a good time, but our interesses have moved. There will be one more deviation from me, which I finished back in September, but V (well, lets say) takes his time to create a nice Photoshopped picture of it.
I think I will still visit DA once in a while...

It takes me about 4 weeks (give or take) to make something that's about 5" tall like the houndoom and luxray , but I'm slow If I know I need to get it made faster I can.

5 inches? That's small for such details!
4 weeks is not that long. It depends how much hours you spend per week. Could you make an estimate of that?
I guess my pace is (even) slower then yours. I've spent about 50 hours each on Farfetch'd and on Jynx. Currently I'm working on Exeggutor, which I began working on in August, but I would be positively surprised if I'd finish it this year (I work 3 to 4 hours per week)

Well Luxray took about 4 months or so. I gave an estimate based more on how long it would take to make a new one that size, not how long it took me to make the original Houndoom. I find that if I've made something before I make it soooo much faster the next time around. Plus I have a pattern from the 1st time if it's the same thing. So that takes out like a week or two of work. As for the original Houndoom it was about 3 months of work (give or take) that's about 4 hours a day 5 days a week (but I normally have more than 1 project at a time). So I try not to count hours LOL. I'm working on one right now & it going on 7 months & something like 300 hours At times needle felting can be faster than traditional plush & at times it's slower. I've had teddy bears take me over a year to make so I'm slow too

300 hours?! That's very long! On the other hand, the result is marvellous .
If it takes so much time, how can you motivate yourself to create another plushie again? I wouldn't remake one myself. That's because I don't do commissions and I'm searching for new challenges.
4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Well, that's 20 hours per week, which is quite much for a hobby. I don't think that's bad; its kinda cool . I'm just amazed you are able to combine it with making a living.

yeah it's in no way a hobby this is what I do for a living & I've been doing it for about 2 or 3 years now. I guess I get motivated because if I don't make something to sale I don't eat

I'm totally astonished now! A lot of questions pop up in my mind:
- Are you working by a company, with some friends or just on your own?
- Since it takes a lot of time for you to finish one, how do you earn enough money? Okay, your plushies are awesome. But do people want to spend hunderds of dollars on a plushie?

20 hours of work in a week; that's not much if that's your only income. You must have a restful life
