What kind of tricks do you want to know?

If you sculpt your own terrain and want it to look more jagged click on generate terrain. Then pick a method and select the generate features on existing terrain option then generate. It will generate a new look and overlay it on your existing terrain. I recomend useing one of the perlian noise options.
Setting a lower fractal noise will make your surface map blend more and setting a higher fractal noise will make your surface map blend less.
Theese are some tips off the top of my head that I can rember.
I generaly use my graphics tablet to sculpt my terrain then use a smaller terrain brush to make it more like I want then I finish up with ridged multi perlian noise
