Thank you very much, I will keep you, your family, and your work in my prayers.

I was going to serve in our parish last Saturday, but I was running late due to preparations for a medical mission. When I arrived, a lector who we had no contact with for a few months finally returned, but we found out that her son had died. There were three of them in the sacristy, and finding me exhausted, they told me I didn't have to read for the day.

Attended the anticipated Mass with my mother instead. We usually still attend and serve in a Sunday pastoral/community Mass the next day, but I wouldn't have been able to concentrate well or stay alert enough to serve yesterday. It's a community with some 100 people attending the Mass, but there are very few people willing to be lectors. Training them is even harder.

Went on a bit too long there, my apologies...

My mom would like to thank you for the articles you have been sharing on the group -- I forward some of them to her.

Thank you very much, on all counts.
The mission was a success, though only now am I recovering from being sick.
My academic performance has not been good for the last few weeks, and I seek to rectify that.
