not yet!! but i will be getting a new tablet Soon (TM) and i'll finally be able to digital art again when that happens. i have decided to give him the name of my world villain and forge him into a properly unique agent of chaos, as well as probably develop the myth behind his (actually crazy) people and their great tragedy that keeps resulting in a gazillion villains, big and small.

ace attorney and a bunch of character concepts and probs some weirdo landscapes are coming

that sounds really cool! sounds like youve got a bunch of fun worldbuilding to do too. ive been doing some worldbuilding too and revision lately, despite finals haha :v ive probs mentioned this before but if u wanna read my thing when its done... or trade off, haha.

also the new tablets exciting i kinda need a new one myself tbh but i just got a new computer so it wont be happening for a while yet...

oh man I'm actually really encouraged! got to talk to a writer acquaintance who graduated from my school a few years ago and had a really good chat about the writing process that, hmm, I'm not sure what the right word is- enabled, perhaps?- yes, enabled me to finally loosen up a bit and experiment with methods and stuff. my finals are basically all of next month so I might have to wait for a bit to do more than a scene or two + some ideas a day but man do I have plans. please let me read your thing when it's done! I can show you what I've got so far as well, though it isn't much~

yeah, it'll be the first time I've ever gotten a new tablet kinda nervous but it's like... a small intuos pro? and the amazon reviews were good; hopefully I'll be able to use it without having to restart my computer every time because windows 8.1 doesn't like wacom products

haha sry its just that "agent of chaos" is a title some of my characters have so. it amused me. thats all.

thats awesome!! nothing like talking about writing to get you really pumped to write haha. im in the middle of finals now and even once i finish ill have a lot of work to do to get through revision, so, youve got plenty of time haha. and if you ever want someone to bounce ideas off im totally down (and ive been better about remembering to turn on skype lately, so theres that haha)

im still using my ancient bamboo fun haha. i think its 6 or 7 years old at this point... yeah, i think it was my birthday present in 2009, so almost exactly 7 years. still alive and kicking, though. i havent tried it with my new computer yet though (with windows 10...)

wow!! I think life in the tropics has been pretty rough on mine, I actually have a bamboo fun too but the cord is getting finicky and it's either my hardware or windows 8.1 that hates it because it takes a whole lotta effort to get it to work and by then all my artistic enthusiasm is just... gone.

ah, probably, though im not exactly gentle with mine and i travel with it a lot... and it survived four months in singapore, so... i think i have heard of issues with win 8, though i might be thinking of sai... i actually thought my tablet was dying the other day but it turned out to be my usb port, so that might be your problem too? my laptops only like 4 years old or so but its getting to be in pretty rough shape haha

singapore's pretty clean though, have you seen manila? >_> and yeah I have to run SAI in compatibility mode which is weird because I totally didn't have to do that about three months ago on the same computer. and yeah I'd prefer for it to be the USB port... as it is the tablet cursor goes too slowly to use when it's plugged in the 2nd time after I restart my computer OTL

i havent. singapore might be clean but its still really humid, and we didnt have ac so the windows were open all the time...

that IS weird. did you try reinstalling drivers and such? maybe it really is hardware. but hey, youre getting a new one, so.

yeahhhhh i feel you, that's the same level of difficulty right there. when i was in middle school we didn't have any ac and i'm still wondering how i survived hot season w/o it for 3 years. did you like having fresh breezes and stuff though? i've found that no matter how hot it is i really can't stand ac for longer than a day- i need to get outside and breathe in real air and accidentally trip and roll down hills with the sun shining down on me. man i had bruises from that

it is bizarre! this sort of thing always happens to me and so i did try reinstalling the drivers- no luck though. kinda sad huh? but you're right, i am! probably within the next two weeks too

it is college, and its not just you, its a pretty big thing. im just not ready to be a real person haha :/

we had an overhead fan that was just going constantly (this was in my dorm room). sometimes there was a breeze outside but mostly i just stuck to the shade, a lot of sidewalks in singapore are covered because if its not intense equatorial sunlight its intense tropical rain lol. you acclimate, though. there were a scant few places on campus and elsewhere that really had ac and if you stayed in it for too long it always got uncomfortable... i was suffering the whole time haha. and then i didnt even realize how much id acclimated until i got to japan and it was 75 degrees f and i was cold...

well, i guess its just dying then... have fun with the new one!!
